The Challenge
TCG facilities Ltd was appointed by a local housing association to address a vermin infestation affecting the loft space of a residential property.
The existing insulation was contaminated by rodent activity, creating health and safety concerns for the occupants. The job required a sensitive approach, with careful handling and safe disposal of hazardous waste materials.
The Solution
We worked in coordination with a pest control partner, who carried out a full decontamination of the loft space before our team began work.
Our operatives safely removed all old insulation and thoroughly cleared the area of waste and rodent droppings, ensuring full compliance with our waste carrier’s licence. Once the space was cleaned, we installed new loft insulation to meet current building regulations.
